Our Approach

Foluke Akinmoladun
​Foluke Akinmoladun is a legal practitioner called to Nigeria Bar and an accountant(ACCA-in view). She is a certified Mediator, a trained arbitrator and the Managing Solicitor of Trizon Law Chambers. She is an ADR practitioner and in her alternative dispute resolution practice, she participated in the drafting of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Centre’s Rules on arbitration and mediation. She has acted in various capacities in the arbitration process such as acting legal representative to parties at arbitral proceedings, acting as arbitral registrar and as arbitrator. She has been appointed as arbitrator in domestic arbitration matters mainly in finance-related matters. She mediates on commercial and banking matters, customary/family law matters, property/land matters and debt recovery.

Foluke’s legal work experience spans both Nigerian and foreign law firms where she has handled domestic and international commercial legal matters. Her foreign law firm experience was mainly solicitor work specifically in mergers and acquisition documentation, intellectual property registrations (patents and trademarks), and software licensing arrangements. Her Nigerian experience covers maritime claims, estate management, legal aid (prisoners), environmental claims, fundamental human rights, judgment enforcement, land matters, labour matters, family and probate matters and debt recovery. In corporate and commercial matters she has been engaged in Joint venture documentation, project development contracts, shareholders’ agreements, corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance, the perfection of land documentation, PPP contracts, due diligence, legal risk analysis, legal audit report and construction contract documentation.
